The much awaited single entrance exam for admission into various Medical Colleges of India, NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) concluded on 5 May 2013 successfully.Due to assembly election NEET will be conducted on 18 May 2013 in the state of Karnataka.According to the official website of NEET, as per the latest order of Supreme Court of India NEET would also be conducted on 26 May 2013 in Urdu.But only those candidates can appear in this exam who have not appeared in NEET in Hindi or English language.The result of NEET would be declared in the first week of June.

According to Aakash Institute the NEET cut off marks for general category candidates in this year would be 350 marks.For OBC candidates the NEET cut off marks would be 300 marks while for SC and ST candidates it would be 280 marks.It is not the final cut off marks and there is every possible chance for different cut off marks.CBSE will declare NEET result following the order of Supreme Court of India.Many private Medical Colleges are against NEET.The final decision of Supreme Court is yet to come.
